Hello TV Fool community

I just ran the signal analysis and here are the results

Based on the above, which antenna would you recommend so that I can cut ties with my Direct TV company? Also if i needed to run this to two TVs, would I need an amp or could I get away with just a splitter. Thank you in advance.

I think you'd be fine with a small UHF/VHF antenna like the ANT-751, since you're only 25 miles from most with good LOS. Of course, that doesn't take into account trees, buildings, etc. Mount it on the roof and point it due east and set your tv to scan for antenna signals. It should find a few by the looks of your plot. Scan with a direct connection to one TV, then once you have em programmed in, switch the connection to the other and do the same. Check some signal strengths for certain channels on each tv, typically done at a setup screen on the tv. Note them and then connect both using the splitter. Now compare signals on each to your notes. If they're still good, skip the amp. If they're weak or you've lost some, then you can add an amp at the split.

Thanks elmo.

There used to be a site that showed exactly where to point the antenna, but now I can't find it. You could even zoom in with Google maps, put an X on your roof and it would show (based on Ant placement) where to point for best reception. Anyone know of that site?

You have the same information in your TV Fool report (expressed as a magnetic/compass direction). You can also use the Interactive TV Maps (http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=90) tool, selecting the Satellite or Hybrid view to view nearby landmarks.
