Only 6 Channel: RCA ANT751 Outdoor Antenna - North York 15th floor facing north west

Current set up has RCA ANT751 on my condo (35 Hollywood Ave) balcony facing north-west on the 15th floor. The antenna has is set to point south west.

Currently receive: CBC, CTV, TVO, CKVR, FOX, and the Country Music station.

Tried pointing the antenna in many directions but did not pick up more than 6 channels. I would like to receive all the US stations if possible and PBS.

Would a amplifier help pick up more stations?
Would elevating the antenna above the glass balcony railing?

The tvfool radar plot report shows that the Digital Tv stations groups are to the south south east.

Out on the balcony , can you see to the to the south/south east??

Are there close tall buildings that are blocking reception to the , south/south east.

Yes having the antenna higher then the railing will help reception.

Not just peaking over the top , but Actually Higher then the railing.

Aim the ANT751 to the south/south east the best you can and scan for Digital Broadcast Tv channels.

My balcony faces north west so if I point my antenna south east then I will point into my building. I tried pointing the antenna south and only get the 6 channels.

Would an amplifier help? Since my antenna sits on the balcony, would you have any recommendations on how I can elevate the antenna?

So there is not even a little of the balcony that is even somewhat in the direction of South??

For the -->Tests<-- of reception , the ANT751 antenna can be put on top of some stacked up boxes out on the balcony.

Reception will be better if can get the antenna away from the building as much as possible.

Is there a building to the west , that is as high as your apartment , that the ANT751 can be aimed at so as to get some reflected Tv transmissions that come from the south south east.
