I'm looking to rid myself of a cable bill. I would like to install an antenna in my attic if at all possible.
I am considering a RC ANT751R with a RCA TVPRAMP1R Antenna Pre-Amplifier. Would this be a good set up for my needs?

If we lived next door to one another, you'd see an Antennas Direct DB4e above my roof. The programing from WMFD and WLIO may be of interest, if so I would add an Antennacraft Y10713 using a UVSJ to combine the two antennas into a common down-lead.
I would opt for an Antennas Direct CPA-19. The RCA preamp may be OK but there are no published noise specifications for it which makes me prefer products that do disclose such information.
Attic mounting may work, but the ANT-751 will be hard pressed to deliver much. Even in the open, above the roof, the ANT-751 is a bit small in your application.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at the Antennas Direct DB4e. Any tips on a mast or suggestions with the attic mount?
If I don't have much luck I'll mount it on an eave.
