Well to start off I am coming direct and am trying to buy the best antenna for my location as we are in between Birmingham, AL and Huntsville both at least 35 miles or so! I would appreciate anyones advice as we haven't had regular service and our tired of the expense and since were away from the house alot and not huge tv watchers anyway we need your help!

I am currently with rabbit ears getting channels 15 CW and 54 Fox and I'm guessing they are coming from Huntsville as those are not Birmingham channels like I remember! They work but if you move around in the room it gets disrupted and can lose signal!

Please read through this guide, http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=4 Then post your TV Fool report. Our ability to recommend an antenna is severely limited unless we can review the report for you location.
Thanks :)

Consider a combination antenna like this, http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?mc=03&p=HD-7015&d=Winegard-HD7015-VHFUHFFM-Prostar-1000-TV-Antenna-%28HD7015%29&c=TV%20Antennas&sku=
Mounted on the roof and aimed a little east of due north you should be able to receive a fairly full line up.
If you were avid TV watchers, wanting every possible station, the expense of a rotator may be justified, but to see much to the south you would need a larger, deep-fringe antenna and a preamplifier.

The HD 7015 is the same antenna that I have. I love it. Yet in this case I think that there's a better solution that would not require a rotor for most programming.
I'd do a 4 bay UHF only aimed at 33°, and a Y5-2-6 aimed at WUOA (174°). The NM of 15.5 on channel 6 is marginal for all but the big low VHF antennas. An AP 2870 preamp or UVSJ coupler would add the antennas together. If WUOA has nothing that you want to watch, drop the Y5-2-6 antenna and switch to an AP8700 preamp.
To get CW would require a rotor or it's own antenna.
