More Antenna Advice

We have a cabin about 50 miles southeast of the Chattanooga TV stations. We've had some luck pulling in 6 channels with the old analog TV antenna on top of the house (sits about 20' up on a pole, gets ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CW and PBS). We currently have one HDTV and would eventually have total of two.
Over the holiday, I purchased a GE Futura Indoor/Outdoor Digital antenna from Home Depot and put it in the front window of the cabin (1st floor, about 10' off the ground) pointed in the general direction of the tvfool reported channels, and was able to tune the same 6 channels - but with better quality reception (less pixilation, etc). Antennaweb says we should use a directional antenna w preamp.

Rather than have to hire someone to swap out antennas on the house, is there a better inexpensive antenna that someone could recommend for the tv tower distance? Something that can pull in both VHF and UHF (3 of the 6 are 3, 9, and 12 out of Chattanooga.)

Our cabin has a metal roof (if that matters).

I recommend the Winegard HD7084P all channel antenna. There is no such thing as a Magic hdtv tv antenna , the HD7084P is not a magic tv antenna. If a magic hdtv tv antenna is what you will like , the there are plenty of places on the net that will sell you one.
